Introduction:    
 

IT Education Center (ITEC), formerly the Alliance for the Promotion of IT in Education (APITE) is a charitable

 
non-profit education organization established in year 1998 by a group of academics, school teachers, IT professionals
 

and companies. ITEC has the mission to foster the

 

strengths and efforts from Government, Institutions,

Schools, Teachers, Students, IT Professionals, and

Organizations to advocate the continuing development of
IT in education for Hong Kong. The objectives of ITEC
are to provide excellent quality IT training and activities,
to design diversified and creative IT education services,
to arouse creative thinking of youngsters, and to enhance
the quality in Hong Kong education.
